Hawksworth Wood St Mary SE 252372
History
Built in 1932-35 by W D Caröe, his last church. There is a bellcote built on the south side at the junction between nave and chancel.
Bells
Two bells hung for swing chiming.
| Bell | Founder | Date | Cwt-Qtr-Lb | Diameter | Note |
| 1 | London | c1935 | c22" | ||
| 2 | London | c1935 | c24" |
Inscriptions
Both bells are inscribed with a memorial inscription on their waists - they are obviously a pair and contemporary with the church. Just visible on the easternmost bell is the word "LONDON" in the inscription band. Therefore I assume they are the work of the Whitechapel bell foundry.
Frame and Fittings
Fitted for swing chiming with metal bar headstocks, clappers and chiming levers.
