History
Medieval church in the decorated style with perpendicular west tower rebuilt in 1884 and of a different stone from the remainder of the church.
Bells
A peal of eight bells hung for full circle ringing. These were transferred from St Matthew Holbeck. The three old bells were rehung above the eight for fixed chiming.

Frame and Fittings
The peal of eight is hung in two separate cast-iron low-side frames with 1, 3, 5 and 7 above and 2, 4, 6 and 8 below. They hang from modern fittings by Gillett and Johnston in 1930. The tenor retains its clapper buffer allowing it to hum longer than the other bells. The eight hang in the old clock chamber and in the original bell chamber are the three old bells hung dead from a girder. The tenor (pictured below) sounds the hours but the other two bells are no longer used.
